Training
The Lac St Louis Sport-etude training center operates out of the Dollard Civic centre. On-ice and off-ice training will take place weekdays from 1:30-4:30 pm.
Academics
The school day is condensed to allow for dismissal as early as 1:05 pm in order to allow skaters to train in the afternoon. To be eligible for Sport-etudes, skaters must have passed the competitive test for their age group and participate in Sectionals each year. Students must also maintain a 75% average. La grille horaire des athlètes-élèves est modifiée de façon à condenser les cours académiques le matin, et permettre aux athlètes-élèves de s’entraîner l’après-midi. Afin d'être éligibles au programme Sport-Étude, les patineurs doivent avoir réussi le test compétitif correspondant à leur catégorie d'âge et doivent participer au championnats de Section annuellement. Les athlètes-élèves doivent maintenir une moyenne de 75% en mathématique, français, anglais et une moyenne générale de 70%.
