Presidents Message

 

Welcome to the Lac St Louis Region!

The Lac St Louis Region is comprised of 14 figure skating clubs and 3559 Skate Canada members,  including skaters, officials, and volunteers.  Beaconsfield, Cote St Luc, Dollard, Dorval, Kirkland, Lachine, Lakeshore Adult, Lasalle, Outremont, Pierrefonds, Pointe-Claire, St. Laurent, TMR, and Verdun.  We are all members of the Federation de Patinage Artistique du Quebec and Skate Canada.

You will find links to all of these clubs as well as the FPAQ and Skate Canada on our website and you may contact them for information on the skating programs in their clubs.

We are a very active region running various provincial and national programs for our skaters.  As well we host our regional competition each year and the Dorval FSC holds an invitational competition open to some of the other regions in the Province.  We also hold a Canskate Gathering in February for all of our young canskaters to participate in team events as well as solos.

We will be once again hosting the 2010 Summer Provincial Championships at the Sportplex 4 Glace in Pierrefonds Quebec, this competition will take place in August.  We welcome skaters, officials, and coaches from around the world and it takes close to 200 volunteers from our region to run this large event.
